aft hearing abt jessica's wonderful yong tau fu experience at eunos, dar n i decided to hv lunch cum early dinner there.. but he was too engrossed in me as usual (bhb!!! ^^) tt he forgot to count bus stops n we ended up at paya lebar instead. zzz..
wanted to eat at the geylang serai mkt but was put off by the heat so we wasted transport fare n time taking bus backwards to eunos. dunno if the kopitiam we visited was the right one. but the yong tau fu we ate had a nice soup base though not as sweet as jessica described. n their pricing system abit weird. but its cheap still lah.
dar n i had differences AGAIN! but its ok le ba.. i guess i shld be less possesive n grant more freedom. mayb then we both wld be happier.. anyway, back to the topic, aft lunch, we came back to sch for our star trek spdp.
first stop, 7-eleven for snacks n water supply. then boarded a v big bus for just 6 participants excluding assistants. we headed down to some jetty at east coast park n set up tent n telescope for star gazing.
although the sky was pretty cloudy, we did manage to see alot of stars as the night got darker. through the binoculars n telescope, we spotted n learnt abt horoscopes n constellations. i saw canis major, some hunter thingy, scorpius, the rare 'seven sisters' n many many more star structures tt i can't seem to rmbr or names i forgot. but its all so pretty u cld go on gazing for hrs!
we also got to see planets n the moon up close. saturn had a loopy thing around its orangey body n neptune even had the blue-white stripes. its all breath-takingly beautiful.. the sp astronomers also had fancy equipment like a green laser to match the stars, point out sky objects n shoot aeroplanes. shhh... we r not exactly supposed to do tt. =P
learnt tt there r alot of star charts in the world (china's chart hv celestrial palaces n even toilets!) but we stuck to the acknowledged n traditional greek symbols.
dar n i left halfway for some private time n missed a shooting star. *sulks*
slept for abit on the hard floor before having nasi lemak breakfast at bedok before he sent me hm on vday morn.
